Pumpkin Payatch
On Saturday we went to the pumpkin payatch. I don't know where the diphthong came from. Every once in a while I get these southern inflections that don't seem to reflect any part of my upbringing- calling my mom "Mawma" to dad being "day-ad". Being out in the field brings it out.
The Rombach pumpkin farm is a lot different from when daddy was my age. Even though it's no longer in the country they still have fields, animals, and tractors. Along with the old fort and Halloween displays they have food, rides, and many other amusements. One such ride is the pumpkin cart.
I got to ride a pony and pretend I was the pumpkin queen.
Some of the displays were scary but I liked going in the tunnels. You can see more of the trip here.
By the end of the day I was pretty tired.
This morning my caterpillar turned into a butterfly. Little Man (Four) jumped on the butterfly but we saved it. Daddy and I put it in a tree so it can fly to Mexico.

What an exciting and energetic day you must have had! I bet everyone you came into contact with was excited to see you, the pumpkin princess!
You sure are a very lucky lady to have the parents you have taking you to all of these neat places. But of course they deserve you too.
