Wow! It's been too long. My apologies for not keeping my blog updated. So, in true playing catch up fashion here is what I've been up to lately.
In January, before I broke my arm, my friend, Madison, and I entered the St. Margaret of Scotland Talent Show, which benefited the patients of Children's Hospital in St. Louis. We just happened to own the same dress so we decided to wear it for our singing debut. We performed the song "Tomorrow" from the hit Broadway musical "Little Orphan Annie." We didn't win but had a great time performing and watching all our other friends!
Here's a picture of me from the Missouri Botanical Garden. I went to the annual orchid show, which is held in January each year. I didn't get anything while I was there but my Grandma Debbie bought me an orchid for Easter and it is doing really well at my house.
Our azaleas looked beautiful this spring so I asked my Mom to take a picture of me in front of the blooms. This picture doesn't show the blooms but it's one of my favorites!
My Grandpa Mike invited me and my parents to the annual St. Louis St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown St. Louis. The weather was just right for wearing the green! After the parade, we went to Bapcia's for dinner; she was serving her delicious corned beef. Just thinking about that corned beef now makes me want some more!
We also went back to the Missouri Botanical Garden around St. Patrick's Day. It was a nice day and, as you can see, they had dyed the water in the fountain green in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
Near the end of March we got a new puppy, a Shiloh Shepherd, named Clara. She's now 5 months old and keeps us all really entertained and busy! I love talking walks with her and giving her lots of attention and lovin'!
In June, we entered Clara in her first dog show at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO. She did really well, winning 5 medals! This is me wearing the first of those 5 medals that she won. I was so happy for her and for us!
This is a picture of me and my Dad from Suson Farm Park in St. Louis. I can't remember when it was taken but it is from sometime this spring. At Suson, you can see a bunch of different farm animals and, if you want, go fishing in the lake. I just like seeing the animals, especially the horses, and playing on the big playground.
