Hello? Anyone still out there? Part II

We went to the Catsup Bottle Festival in Collinsville, IL today.  Of course, I didn't get any pictures but I did have fun hanging out, eating snow cones, bouncing in the bouncy house, watching my friend Evan and his dad participate in a hot dog eating contest, and catching the crowning of the little Mister and Miss Catsup Bottle Festival.  Maybe I'll remember to take some more pictures next year.  In the mean time, here's the latest, and last, installment of what I've been up to this year so far.

(Above 3 Photos) One of my favorite places to visit is the Missouri Botanical Garden's Sophia M. Sachs's Butterfly House in Faust Park, Chesterfield, MO.  It's cool to see so many butterflies flying around, landing on trees and plants right in front of your eyes.  It's especially exciting when one lands on you or someone you're with!  In the top photo, I'm on the playground outside the Butterfly House.  And, in the next two photos, I'm actually in the outside garden at the Butterfly House.

My Dad likes to garden a lot so he has two garden beds in our backyard and one in our neighborhood garden, Tower Grove Community Garden.  My Dad is also a beekeeper and keeps a hive at the community garden.  Here I am, posing, at the garden while helping Dad is working with the bees.  You can see him in the white beekeeper hat and shirt over my right shoulder off in the distance.

In September I started dance classes at Carol Christy Dance School in South St. Louis City.  I took tumbling, ballet, and tap classes on Saturday afternoons.  A few weeks ago, in June, we gave a recital and performed for our parents and family friends.  Here I am with some of my dance school friends.  My friend Ava, in the middle, goes to St. Margaret of Scotland with me.  My friend Isabella, on the right, is a friend who goes to the Soulard School.  The other girls are new friends from Carol Christy that I met this year.  (photo from my Ava's Mom)

We took my Dad on a Mississippi Riverboat cruise on the Becky Thatcher riverboat for Father's Day this year.  We had brunch, listened to live Dixieland banjo/piano music, and took in the sights of the Mississippi River as we cruised along for a couple of hours.  As you can see from the photos, I had a lot of fun spending time and acting goofy with my Dad!
